Papua Red and White Front (BMP): Do Not Be Easily Provoked

Jayapura – The Secretary of the Papua Red and White Front (Barisan Merah Putih Papua/BMP), Yonas Nussy appealed to the public not to be easily provoked by irresponsible groups aiming to undermine the security stability in Papua.

“The public should not be instigated by the irresponsible groups undertaking activities that exploit the issue of racism,” he added on Wednesday.

Yonas Nussy, who is also the Chairperson of the Saireri Community Forum, further responded to the development of the issue in Indonesia, stating that if anyone want to convey their aspirations, they should do so “in accordance with the regulations.” The same holds true for any parties who are not satisfied with the prevailing laws; they are free to take legal action because everything is already stipulated under the applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
