Indonesian Navy Hospital Ship Arrives in Papua New Guinea for Final Stage of Humanitarian Mission

After a long journey from Vanuatu, the Indonesian Warship (KRI) dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo 991 (KRI WSH-991) finally arrived in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG), on Sunday, November 17, 2024. This arrival marks the final stage of the Port Visit Task Force 2024, which carries Indonesia’s humanitarian and diplomatic mission in the South Pacific region.

The Commander of the Port Visit Task Force 2024, Colonel (Navy) Arif Prasetyo, was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Andriana Supandy, in a heartfelt welcoming ceremony at the Port Moresby Wharf.
